Gosh I've been here several times over the years but never wrote about it. I recently went for a business lunch and had a nice quick meal. It wasn't too busy around 1p on a weekday which surprised me as there used to be a wait and line during lunch hours back in the day. We tried: 3 item bbq plate: - i get weary when the roast duck and chicken are served warm as it's unsure if they use the microwave (hello Sam Woo restaurant) or their meats are served fresher here. The soy sauce chicken was tender, the duck tasted bland. The roast pork was ok Westlake soup: - very good and hearty. Loved the thickness and the cilantro Salt pepper shrimp : - LOVED this dish! The shrimp was plump and the crispy batter so light and flavorful Black bean clams: - nice big clams and others felt the clams tasted fresh Fresh steamed fish (this was expensive) - I can't remember the type of fish but it was live (I think) so the price was high. The fish was tender and well steamed Service was quick and efficient. I didn't pay that day but I think the price was $175(?) or so. The seafood is expensive i was told. I'd return to try more items now that this recent visit was enjoyable.

Been here since they've opened. 90% of the time the food is on par. Very rare occasion do I have bad comments about them. Today I came with my family and extended family. All the food was very good and so was the service. I do noticed that my dining in experience is always good and better than order out.

Came and tried the Peking duck 2 ways. It was Peking duck with steamed buns. Pretty much on par with other great Peking restaurants. The 2nd way was duck meat with with lettuce wrap. The meat was pretty flavorless. I guess you add hoi sin sauce to flavor it. Could do with more garlic and cumin spice. The garic peashoot leaves could be more seasoned. Overall, pretty good experience.

My family came here for dinner to celebrate my sister-in-law's brother-in-law's birthday. As always, the food was excellent and the service exceptional. We made a reservation and pre-ordered ahead of time, so the food were brought out to our table shortly after everyone arrived and got situated. All of the dishes were delicious! This restaurant never disappoints in the quality of their food and customer service. It's nicely decorated too, so perfect for group photos!
